KULIS · PRIVACY POLICY
Your wardrobe.
Your choices.
How Kulis processes photos, account information, AI permissions and data requests.
Your permission comes first
Choosing a photo does not, by itself, permit AI sharing. Kulis asks for permission before sending personal photos for AI processing. Outfit suggestions use clothing details and your plans instead of your photos.
1. Information we process
We process wardrobe images, prepared garment and mannequin images, clothing details and saved outfits; account identifiers, your sign-in email address or information shared by your sign-in provider; language, mannequin and permission choices; selected or written outfit requests; App Store or Google Play transaction, product, purchase-verification, membership and credit records, according to the store used; and, if enabled, device notification identifiers and delivery/opening records. Kulis does not receive your card or bank details.
Kulis is intended for adults aged 18 or over. In versions that request an age declaration, your selected age band (18 or over, or under 18), declaration version and timestamp are stored against your account identifier to manage AI access. We do not request your full date of birth or an identity document.
If you report an AI result in the app, we store the selected reason, optional description and result reference with your account identifier, report identifier and timestamp. We use these to review reports and improve service safety. No photo or file is automatically attached.
A technical guest identifier is created on the server to manage AI requests and allowances even without a permanent account. Limited usage and diagnostic records include screens viewed, plan types, action results, durations and error codes linked to a technical account identifier. Usage events do not contain photos, clothing names or your written plans.
Infrastructure access logs: Technical connection data, including IP addresses and approximate city, region and country derived from those addresses, is processed in service infrastructure logs, including Supabase, to deliver and secure the service and diagnose technical problems. The app does not request your device’s GPS location.
We use this information to provide and secure the service, maintain your wardrobe, fulfil requests, verify purchases, resolve errors and understand usage. AI sharing and optional notifications follow the permissions you give in the app. You do not need to include sensitive personal information in outfit requests.
2. Photos and AI
With photo-processing permission, the selected photo or garment image, clothing details and fixed mannequin choice are sent through Supabase to Google Gemini and fal.ai. A photo showing a person may include that person in the image sent. Only upload images you are entitled to use.
Outfit requests send only clothing details and the occasion or description you provide to Google Gemini. They do not send your photos or mannequin images. AI may fill in small missing areas; details, colour and fabric drape can differ. Kulis does not measure body fit, recognise faces, analyse identity or create a personal avatar.
Permission applies to later relevant requests. Withdraw it in Settings → Privacy to stop future AI processing. Withdrawal does not recall information already sent to a provider.
3. Service providers
- Supabase: accounts, transfer, private wardrobe storage and operational records.
- Google Gemini: image analysis and text-based outfit suggestions. See also Google’s privacy policy.
- fal.ai: garment and fixed-mannequin image preparation.
- Apple: Apple sign-in, App Store purchases and iPhone push delivery. Push payloads do not include wardrobe photos.
- Türkticaret: the recipient email address and verification message are transmitted through the mail service used by Supabase for email sign-in and account verification.
- Google Play: processing and verification of purchases offered on Android.
Provider infrastructure may be outside Türkiye, so information may be processed abroad. Providers have their own retention, security and legal obligations. Kulis does not promise zero retention by any provider.
4. Storage and deletion
Your wardrobe: A guest wardrobe is stored on the device. Linking an account automatically stores and syncs wardrobe images, prepared mannequin layers, clothing details and saved outfits privately in Supabase. Capture originals are not separately included in the wardrobe backup; photos used directly as wardrobe images are included.
Temporary AI files: Original processing uploads are targeted for cleanup after success or failure. Temporary result images and job files become eligible for cleanup after 24 hours and are removed by the next successful cleanup run. This is not a guarantee that every copy disappears at exactly 24 hours. Your saved account wardrobe is separate from this temporary retention window.
Operational records: Raw usage events have a 90-day retention period with scheduled cleanup. Limited purchase-verification, credit, financial-integrity, security and legally required records can have different retention periods. Infrastructure access logs are separate from app usage events, and their retention depends on the relevant provider’s terms. Account deletion does not promise instant removal of every such record or of providers’ own records.
AI content reports: Reports become eligible for deletion after 90 days and are deleted in the next successful scheduled cleanup. Reports linked to your account are also deleted when that account is deleted.
Deleting an account: Start deletion in My account → Delete my account. This removes the account and its server wardrobe through the deletion process. Active work may require you to retry. Signing out preserves the account wardrobe and hides it on this device. Resetting a guest wardrobe clears local Kulis records, not your photo library.
Deleting a Kulis account does not cancel a store subscription; manage it through the App Store or Google Play account used for the purchase. You can also separately manage your Sign in with Apple connection in your Apple account. See support instructions.
5. Choices and rights
Withdraw AI sharing in Settings → Privacy. Manage ready-piece alerts, optional news and suggestions, and daily reminders separately in Settings → Notifications. Remote ready-piece and news notifications are currently available on iPhone. Android daily reminders are scheduled on the device; no remote push is sent. Manage camera and photo access in your phone’s app permissions.
Contact us to request information, access, correction or deletion where applicable, to ask about recipients of your information, or to exercise applicable objection and complaint rights. Your rights under applicable law remain available; see the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law. We may verify account ownership before acting, but will not ask for your password or verification codes.
6. This page and contact
This site uses no analytics script, advertising or remotely loaded fonts. When you select a language, a cookie saves your preference for one year. On a first homepage visit without a saved preference, country information derived from the connection IP by the hosting infrastructure is used to select the page language; no browser location permission is requested. Hosting infrastructure may process technical access records needed for delivery and security.
